graphic design work by Hu Wen Xia from Cross Connections

Two exciting exhibitions in the University Art Gallery will open this Tuesday, October 19.  In the Main Gallery 'Cross Connections' features work by students and faculty at the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in China and arranged by Art faculty member Prof. Ping Xu.  In the Spotlight Gallery 'Speaking Body' shows interactive work made by University of Northern Iowa faculty member Erica Duffy-Voss that deals with communication disorders.  The opening reception will be held in the Gallery at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.  As always, it'll be a great chance to grab a snack, talk with others interested in the arts, and celebrate the good work being done in our art gallery.
