New Truman inductees to Theta Alpha Kappa, the National Honor Society for Religious Studies

November 27, 2016

Joelle Axton and Katlin Walker were elected as the 2016 inductees to Truman’s selective Alpha Iota Lambda chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa (TAK), the National Honor Society for Religious Studies.  Currently Truman’s chapter has twenty-three student members, twenty of whom have graduated.  TAK is the only honor society dedicated to recognizing academic excellence in baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate students who have demonstrated scholarly achievements in the field of Religious Studies.  Red Honor Cords and TAK Certificates were presented at this year’s TAK reception organized by Dr. Appold, Truman’s TAK Moderator.
