Funding for travel to National Conference on Undergraduate Research

October 4, 2011

Truman State University has a long-standing tradition of sending a group of undergraduate students to the National Conference on Undergraduate Research every spring to present their research, scholarship, and creative activities to their peers from around the country.  We will continue that tradition again this year by supporting student attendance at the 26th Annual NCUR Conference in Ogden, Utah, to be held from March 29-31, 2012.

Funding of student participation and the coordination of all travel arrangements will be handled through the Office of Student Research (OSR).  Students who wish to receive financial support from the University for NCUR travel, registration, and lodging must submit an application to the Office of Student Research.

Students who wish to apply for funding from the Office of Student Research for travel to NCUR 2012 must submit a completed application and a copy of their abstract to the OSR in the drop box outside MG 3132 no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2011.  A copy of the application form can be found at the OSR website at http://osr.truman.edu/ncur.  Abstract guidelines can be found at http://www.weber.edu/ncur2012/dropdowns/aboutabstracts.html.
