PHRE major becomes Truman’s first Rhodes Scholarship winner

Congratulations to PHRE major Andrew McCall on becoming Truman’s first-ever recipient of the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University.

Spring 2010 Religion and Film festival at Truman

The Religion and Film Festival was held this past spring semester in conjunction with PHRE 386: Religion and Film and Mark Lambert’s Student Initiated Learning Opportunity. It is funded by the Provost’s office.

Spring 2010 Religion and Film talks at Truman

The Religion and Film Student Initiated Learning Opportunity, sponsored by the Provost’s Office and the Department of Philosophy & Religion, brought to Truman talks by two noted scholars of religion and film:

    Dr. Willaim Blizek, Professor of Philosophy and Religion at University of Nebraska – Omaha and founding editor of the Journal of Religion and Film
