Organizational Structure Changes Starting July 1
May 7, 2025Dear Colleagues:
After 52 years of impressive and dedicated service, Dave Rector, Vice President for Administration, Finance and Planning, will retire on June 30, 2025. His retirement necessitates some changes in our organizational structure. Effective July 1, 2025:
- Business Office, Physical Plant, and Campus Planning will temporarily report to the President until the position is filled.
- Human Resources will temporarily report to the General Counsel until the position is filled.
- Printing Services and Mail Services will report to the Business Office.
- Department of Public Safety (DPS) will report to Student Engagement.
With this new reporting line for DPS and the need for a senior administrator to devote full attention to enrollment, Dr. Michael Thorp of Small College Consulting (SCC) will serve as Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management through June 30, 2026, at which time an Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, reporting to the President, will be in place. SCC is currently providing operational support for Admissions.
