Dear Colleagues:

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of Brenda Austin, Assistant Professor of Nursing.  Brenda was a valued member of the Truman community, serving as a faculty member from 2016 to 2020, and returning to her beloved university in 2023.  She passed away unexpectedly on May 4.

Our sympathy goes out to Brenda’s family and all who had the fortune of knowing her.

We will share funeral arrangements when they have been confirmed.
