  • KME Initiation

    This past Saturday, KME inducted 7 new members into the chapter. Pictured below are (top Row) Katherine Maxwell, Chris To, Carnahan Lovewell, Matt Short, Evan Datz (bottom row) Teresa Boschert, Alora Bauer.    This brings Truman’s KME chapter total membership number to 554 since it was first installed here at Truman on December 7, 1968.

  • MAA Texas Hold ‘Em Results

    It was ladies’ night at this semester’s MAA Texas Hold ‘Em tournament.  Junior business major Anna Price (center) was the overall winner of the tournament held last Friday night.  Freshman math major Katharine Siemer (right) placed second and senior math major Abby Faron (left) took third place.  Thanks to all who came out to play!

  • MAA Poker Tournament

    November 15, 2013

    The student chapter of the Math Association of America is hosting a poker tournament at 5:30pm Friday November 15th in the VH common area.  Entry is free, and there will be prizes for the top placing players.  All math, cs, stat, and related majors are invited to come and bring friends.  Food will be provided.

    The October KJUG is moved to Monday November 4th from 7-8pm. We’ll meet in the Math/CS computer lab (nerdery) and move from there to a classroom. The topics will be “HTML5 Canvas with KineticJS” and “Ruby Programing!”
