Truman Theatre is holding auditions for Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” which is one of his funniest and most touching plays. \u00a0It’s about a brother and sister separated at sea, mistaken identity amongst quarreling lovers, and the hilarious\/brutal tricks we play on each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

Audition Requirements:
\n– \u00a0Sign up for a five-minute time-slot outside the Scene Shop door next the Ophelia Parrish Building freight elevator (OP 1331).
\n– \u00a0Bring your SPRING schedule of classes and other work-conflicts\/commitments to the audition so you can put them on your audition sheet.
\n– \u00a0Prepare a one minute Shakespeare monologue of your own choosing or if you’re struggling to find one, try one of these:<\/p>\n

MEN
\n1) Orsino- Act 1, Scene 1- \u201cIf music be the food of love, play on;\u201d
\n2) Sebastian- Act 2, Scene 1- \u201cNo sooth sir. My determinate voyage is mere extravagancy.\u00b4
\nWOMEN
\n1) Olivia- Act 3, Scene 1- \u201cO, what a deal of scorn looks beautiful\u2026\u201d
\n2) Viola- Act 2, Scene 4- \u201cA blank, my lord, she never told her love\u2026\u201d
