\nWrite a musical.
\nGet paid.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Two $2500 individual grants available for this program:<\/p>\n

One composer, one playwright.<\/p>\n

\u00a0This is an opportunity for 2 students to collaborate on a
\none-act musical this summer.<\/p>\n

Each student will receive a $2500 grant from the
\nOffice of Student Research.<\/p>\n

The students will be mentored by
\nDavid Charles Goyette (Theater)
\nand Charles Gran (Music).<\/p>\n

\u00a0Requirements<\/span>:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. You are continuing at Truman in the Fall of 2013.<\/li>\n
  2. You will be in residence in Kirksville for the duration of the 8-week program.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Application deadline: Friday, March 29th, 2013.<\/b><\/p>\n

    Composers<\/b>: Email your interest to Dr. Gran (cgran@truman.edu<\/a>). Please include a list of any past experience you have in songwriting, composing, as well as other music experience (lessons, courses, workshops, performing, etc.).\u00a0 Example work attached or linked is encouraged.<\/p>\n

    Playwrights<\/b>: Email your interest to Prof. Goyette (dcgoyette@truman.edu<\/a>). Please include a list of any past experience you have in playwriting, other creative writing, other theater experience (acting, directing, tech, etc.), and a 10 page playwriting sample (PDF).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
