<\/a><\/p>\nSamantha Barnhart and Tia Sarkar were elected as the 2017 inductees to Truman’s selective Alpha Iota Lambda chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa (TAK), the national honor society for religious studies. Currently Truman’s chapter has twenty-five student members, twenty-one of whom have graduated. TAK is the only Honor Society dedicated to recognizing academic excellence in baccalaureate students who have demonstrated scholarly achievement in the field of religious studies.
