(Only electronic submissions will be considered.) Send the paper as an attachment to Professor Christopher H. Pearson at <a href=\"mailto:chpears@siue.edu\">chpears@siue.edu<\/a>.<br \/>\nSubmission Deadline: August 23, 2013<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nSubmission Requirements:<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>Papers in any area of philosophy are welcome.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>Students submitting papers must be undergraduates.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>In the subject line of the e-mail to Professor Pearson please indicate \u201cUndergraduate Philosophy Conference\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>In the body of the message, please indicate your name, university, and email where you wish to be contacted.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>Attach to the essay itself a coverpage, which should include the author\u2019s name, institution, and email.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>Prepare the paper for blind review.\u00a0 The author\u2019s name, institution, and contact information should only appear on the cover page attached to the essay and in the body of the email submitted to Professor Pearson.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote><p>The paper must not exceed 3000 words in length [not counting bibliography and notes].
