{"id":88,"date":"2020-12-29T09:32:28","date_gmt":"2020-12-29T15:32:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.truman.edu\/news\/?p=88"},"modified":"2021-01-11T14:23:55","modified_gmt":"2021-01-11T20:23:55","slug":"return-to-campus-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.truman.edu\/news\/2020\/12\/29\/return-to-campus-guidelines\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty\/Staff: Return to Campus Guidelines and Recommendations"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Fall 2020 was a whirlwind semester, but we made it to the end because we worked as a community to minimize COVID-19 transmission on campus. \u00a0Unfortunately, COVID-19 is not going away. \u00a0So we need to keep working together and start the Spring 2021 Semester strong.<\/p>\n<p>That means we need to think about how we return to campus.<\/p>\n<p>To keep our community safe we recommend you:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-quarantine for 7 days before coming back to campus.\u00a0\u00a0A self-quarantine could look like staying at home and limiting interactions with other humans prior to coming back to campus.<\/li>\n<li>Get tested in the 7 days prior to returning to campus.\u00a0\u00a0Here is a <a href=\"https:\/\/health.mo.gov\/living\/healthcondiseases\/communicable\/novel-coronavirus\/mobile-testing.php\">list<\/a> of COVID-19 testing providers.\u00a0\u00a0Hy-Vee has free asymptomatic and symptomatic testing, and it\u2019s a simple nose-swab all while sitting in your car.\u00a0\u00a0You can register for the Hy-Vee testing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.doineedacovid19test.com\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Wear your mask on and off campus!\u00a0\u00a0Adair County passed a <a href=\"https:\/\/adair.lphamo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/11242020115522.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mask mandate<\/a> at the end of November.<\/li>\n<li>A comprehensive guide to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/email.truman.edu\/owa\/redir.aspx?C=y_PXyvb0QvrY_-WFOkKaLZnckjxRuJZORbbhLJ_M1hc93HcgDqzYCA..&amp;URL=https%3a%2f%2fwww.truman.edu%2fwp-content%2fuploads%2f2020%2f12%2fGeneralCovidProtocols.pdf%3fx13843\">general COVID-19 protocols<\/a>\u00a0can be found here, as well as on the University\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.truman.edu\/coronavirus\/\">Coronavirus website<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0Members of the Truman community who may need to quarantine or isolate can find protocols for that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.truman.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Quarantine-Isolation-Protocols.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fall 2020 was a whirlwind semester, but we made it to the end because we worked as a community to minimize COVID-19 transmission on campus. \u00a0Unfortunately, COVID-19 is not going away. \u00a0So we need to keep working together and start the Spring 2021 Semester strong.
