New book written by MCS professors

Professors Donald Bindner and Martin Erickson (Department of Mathematics and Computer Science) recently published the book “A Student’s Guide to the Study, Practice, and Tools of Modern Mathematics” (CRC Press). The book shows mathematics majors how to get started in their studies. It contains explanations of mathematical writing and research and the use of mathematical software systems such as LaTeX and Mathematica.
