MAA Missouri Math Contest Team Takes 2nd Place

Truman students Xiang Li, Hoang Pham, and Zach Whitehouse took second place in the Missouri Collegiate Mathematics Competition held last week at the University of Central Missouri.  Thirty-six teams from across the state gathered to attempt to solve ten challenging problems during the two day event that took place as part of the 2010 MAA Missouri Section Meeting.  A second Truman team consisting of Elle Little, Mara Mudd, and Charles Tomlinson also finished ranked in the top of half teams participating.
