Graduate Reception

Mathematics and Computer Science graduates and faculty,

With a significant chance of inclement weather and the plans announced earlier today to hold two ceremonies if necessary, it has become necessary for us to also have a back up plan for our reception. A university decision about the time for graduation(s) will be made by 5pm on Friday, and our plan for the reception will follow the university’s decision.

If one ceremony is held as originally planned, our reception will still take place at 10:30. However, if two ceremonies must be held, we will hold our reception 12:00-1:15. Either way we will be in the VH Commons. Graduates, please make sure parents and other guests know about this possible change. We want to celebrate with you and your families, and this plan seems the best way to accommodate all possibilities.
