Student-run Investment Fund Opportunity – Join in Making History!

August 19, 2011

Dear Truman Mathematics Students,

The School of Business would like to invite you to an open event on Wednesday, August 31st to discuss an exciting opportunity with Truman’s newly established Bulldog Student Investment Fund. With this fund, students will be managing real money for the purpose of providing hands-on training and practice in the area of investment management. It will allow students to participate in all aspects of managing an endowment, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment policy statement maintenance and development, equity security analysis, and performance reporting. Truman’s own Foundation has generously set aside a significant amount of capital to fund the operations. This is a notable advancement in the history of Truman State University and all who are involved will surely benefit. Students from any department are welcome, so invite anyone who you think might be interested!

Come to the kick-off meeting for more information on the fund, about how this could benefit you, and the recruitment process moving forward.
