MAA Math Contest Results

The Missouri Collegiate Math Contest took place this past weekend in Columbia at the annual meeting of the Missouri Section of the MAA.  The top seven teams were honored at the meeting’s banquet, and both of Truman’s teams were among this group.  The team consisting of Xiang Li, Hoang Pham, and Zach Whitehouse earned second place, and the team consisting of Brett Collins, Joey Palmer, and Charles Tomlinson earned seventh place.  

There were 34 teams representing 17 colleges and universities in the contest.  This increases the streak to 10 straight years that Truman has won an award in the contest.  Congratulations to these students on their outstanding performances!
