Ohmer, who is currently completing an MAE degree at Truman, delivered a presentation entitled \u201cThe \u2018Attentive Superintendent\u2019: Harry H. Laughlin\u2019s Leadership of the Kirksville Public School System, 1905\u20131907.\u201d She was able to complete her research for this paper with a grant from the Office of Student Research. Rolstead\u2019s paper, \u201c\u2018Backward and Diseased\u2019: American Newspapers\u2019 Perceptions of Arabs and Muslims, 1945\u20131950,\u201d was an outgrowth of research conducted on the TruScholars Program in the summer of 2017.
