The argument assumes that ideas as well as material resources matter, and that how they matter is contingent on which particular nations are running, or trying to run, the international system as well as the type of competition or cooperation evident among and between the great powers.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Dr. John James Quinn, Professor of Political Science at Truman State University, will be speaking this week Thursday,\u00a0<b>February 23<\/b>, at\u00a0<b>7pm<\/b>\u00a0in\u00a0<b>MG 2001<\/b>.
