These small Himalayan countries face challenges to protect their natural treasures amid concerns of food security and limited financial resources. Drawing from experience in the field, Dr. Kafley will highlight strategies and challenges for promoting conservation, and Thornton will share experiences from a semester abroad in Bhutan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The talk is part of the Global Issues Colloquium and is\u00a0co-sponsored by the Truman Biology Department.
