During her time at Truman, she worked as a Research Assistant for Dr. Mayhew\u00a0and presented her research at two different national conferences. Alyssa went on to study at Northern Illinois University, where she was awarded a full tuition scholarship and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. In August 2014, she completed her Master&#8217;s Degree in Public Health,\u00a0with a concentration in Health Promotion.\u00a0She now runs her own online personal training business.\u00a0 Alyssa said this about her business:\u00a0 \u201cIt allows me to work in the exercise science field from home, while my husband and I raise our two children.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alyssa Duffy graduated from Truman State in May\u00a02012 with a BS in Exercise Science.
