In HLTH 362: Environmental Health, students presented their \u2018second-life\u2019 projects. All objects were made from second-hand items to create a new, final product including shelves, a cat post\/bed, wooden chest, flower vases, a clock, a lamp, games, and accessories.<\/p>\n

On October 28th<\/sup>, students from HLTH 362 presented their \u2018second-life\u2019 projects on Sustainability Day. Sustainability Day was co-hosted with the President\u2019s Sustainability Action Committee, Student Government, and the Bike Coop.<\/p>\n

On October 22nd<\/sup>, HLTH 362 spent half the day at Possibility Alliance in LaPlata to learn more about sustainable living. Possibility Alliance is a sanctuary run by Ethan and Sarah Hughes as well as countless volunteers. Students\u2019 eyes were open to the idea of living in the present and learning how to live a more sustainable life, while also discussing key environmental issues.<\/p>\n
