Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!<\/p>\n<p>The Still Scholars,  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPre-Osteopathic Program is  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdesigned to provide admission  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\topportunities to outstanding  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstudents of Truman State  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tUniversity who have as their  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgoal to become Doctors of  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOsteopathic Medicine. The  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tprogram is conducted under joint  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcollaboration of \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Truman State University and  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA.T. Still University (ATSU),  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tKirksville College of  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOsteopathic Medicine (KCOM).<\/p>\n<p>Under this program, Truman  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tState University students apply  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto the Kirksville College of  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOsteopathic Medicine at the end  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof their sophomore year. A  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmaximum of five students will be  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tawarded reserved admissions to  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tKCOM at the beginning of their  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tjunior year at Truman State  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tUniversity. Students complete  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttheir junior and senior year  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tearning a BA\/BS degree prior to  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmatriculating to KCOM.\u00a0 The advantage for those  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstudents accepted at the end of  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttheir sophomore year is to have  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ta reserved seat in KCOM\u2019s  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tentering class upon graduation  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfrom Truman State University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aurora Powell (left) and Katy Modlin (right) have recently been selected as Still Scholars.\u00a0 Aurora and Katy are both Junior Health Science majors.
