Alyssa Duffy graduated from Truman State in May 2012 with a BS in Exercise 
Science. During her time at Truman, she worked as a Research Assistant for Dr. Mayhew and presented her research at two different national conferences. Alyssa went on to study at Northern Illinois University, where she was awarded a full tuition scholarship and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. In August 2014, she completed her Master’s Degree in Public Health, with a concentration in Health Promotion. She now runs her own online personal training business. Alyssa said this about her business: “It allows me to work in the exercise science field from home, while my husband and I raise our two children.”
