This is an enormous accomplishment as Smith has been selected out of a handful of college students from around the U.S. to attend the 105<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Conference for the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) and give a short talk on the types of cultural events and passion for cultural topics our Spanish students at Truman evince.
