I will be serving as an English Teacher Assistant in a Spanish classroom and share my cultural\u00a0perspective to\u00a0Spanish students. I am excited to participate in an intercultural experience where I can\u00a0make life-long connections and\u00a0further\u00a0explore the Spanish\u00a0culture and language. I am especially looking forward to gathering educational experiences and teaching skills that I can bring to the American education system upon my return.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During her time at Truman, Zyanya served as a <strong>GTRA<\/strong> for Mrs. Harding and a Spanish and French <strong>tutor<\/strong>, as well as a <strong>Spanish Teaching Assistant<\/strong> for the CML Department. She was also the President of <strong><em>Sigma Delta Pi<\/em> <\/strong>and won the <strong>Gabriela Mistral Award<\/strong> for her work with the national honor society.
