The 2019 Classical and Modern Languages \u201cCelebrating Student Success\u201d Awards Reception was held on April 30 in SUB Georgian Room A. Awards were presented to outstanding students from various language disciplines by faculty members.<\/p>\n

\nEvery year, the Department of Classical and Modern Languages hosts the reception to recognize the accomplishments of student recipients of national grants (including Fulbright and Critical Language Scholarships), \u201cOutstanding Students\u201d for the various major disciplines, discipline honor recipients, and students who are recognized by the department for demonstrating outstanding research skills, outstanding community service, and outstanding leadership, as well as other honors bestowed by specific language disciplines.<\/p>\n
