Ten students, Spanish majors and minors, accompanied Prof. Carre\u00f1o and Prof. Davis to Camp Jo-Ota in Clarence, MO. Everyone spent the weekend conversing in Spanish only, watching a movie, participating in a variety of different discussion activities, playing\u00a0<em>juegos de mesa<\/em>, as well as preparing guacamole, Spanish rice, and plantains. Prof. Nate came to give a cooking demonstration on how to prepare <em>tortilla de patatas<\/em>. Everyone played a lot of soccer and basketball on Saturday, took a stroll by the lake, laughed until their stomachs hurt, and ate a ton!<\/p>\n<p><a
