Her project, \u201cStudent Engagement Strategies: Creating Effective and Engaging Lessons in the L2 (Spanish) Classroom,\u201d tackles apathy in the language classroom. Given that teachers are challenged with holding students\u2019 attention and making content accessible, relevant, and engaging for (often disinterested) students, Danielle\u2019s project investigates how do we teach students who do not want to be taught?
