Mexico Pedagogical Collaboration: Dr. Stacy Davis, Ross Jones, and Kathleen Placke

Truman alumni Ross Jones (now teaching at Mascoutah High School in Illinois) and Kathleen Placke (now teaching at Ritenour High School in St. Louis) traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with their former Truman professor, Dr. Stacy Davis. Together, they spent two weeks working at the Spanish Experience Center, collaborating with language teachers to hone their pedagogical skills. Davis, Jones, and Placke spent the mornings observing classes, digitalizing materials, and helping to redesign lessons. Every afternoon they led methodology workshops for the staff. This is the second summer of collaboration and the group plans on returning next June to continue the partnership.
