Ross Jones Awarded Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship

Truman alumnus Ross Jones (B.A. Spanish ‘20 with departmental honors, FL-MAE Spanish ‘21), currently completing his student teaching internship at Ladue Horton Watkins High School in St. Louis, Missouri, was selected as a candidate for one of the distinguished English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) Awards from the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Upon meeting all requirements, Ross will be placed in Galicia, Spain for the 2021-2022 academic year to help teach English and serve as a cultural ambassador for the U.S. Previously, Ross studied abroad in Burgos, Spain during the Spring semester of 2019 through one of Truman’s study abroad programs and is excited for the opportunity to return to northern Spain to teach. Ross is one of many Truman graduates to be selected for the prestigious ETA Program in Spain.
