Christiane Taubira Webinar
September 26, 2016The Department of Classical & Modern Language will host a webinar on Monday, October 10th at 6 pm (McClain Hall 306). The webinar will consist of a lecture by Christiane Taubira, former Minister of Justice of France. Ms. Taubira is strongly committed to civil rights, women rights, and the rights of disadvantaged youth. As Justice Minister of France, she introduced a law that both legalized same-sex marriage in France, and allows same-sex couples to adopt children.
