Italian Film maker comes to Truman

Award-winning African-Italian film maker Fred Kuwornu visited Truman campus on November 13-14, 2014.

He presented two of his documentary films :  Inside Buffalo (2010) about the segregated African-American Army combat unit that fought in Italy during WWII for which he received recognition from President Obama, and his film  18 IUS SOLI  (2013) examines the status of the 1 million children of immigrants raised in Italy who are denied citizenship.

Pickler Library has acquired copies of both films, and both are available to all Truman students.
