Hailey Gearo\u00a0<\/strong>(Studio: \u00a0Painting) will have her work featured in her first one-person (solo) art exhibition.<\/p>\n Danielle Naeger <\/strong>(Studio: \u00a0Painting) will be enrolling in the Art Therapy program at\u00a0Emporia State University in the fall.<\/p>\n Daniel Riekena<\/strong> (Studio: \u00a0Painting) has just been hired as the high school Art teacher in Chillicothe, MO for the next school year, and writes: \u00a0“I am very excited to be a part of such an inviting and active high school.” \u00a0He will replace another Truman-educated Art teacher in that position. \u00a0Daniel also\u00a0won the Missouri Art Education Association’s annual art show in the sculpture category in April, as well as\u00a0second place in Chillicothe’s Juried Local Artists Art Show last Thursday (his work was selected out of approximately 75 artworks).<\/p>\n Congratulations to all these bright students! \u00a0We’ll update this post as we get more information from more grads and, again, if you have news you’d like to share, please e-mail us at art@truman.edu!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" With graduation in May we have been getting news about things our graduates will be up to. \u00a0Here’s some of the great things we’ve heard about. \u00a0If you’re a recent grad, we’d love to hear from you! \u00a0Please write to us at art@truman.edu.
