the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsa.org\/\">Renaissance Society of America<\/a> is the leading international conference on Renaissance studies.&#160; Dr. John Garton (BA, Art History and Studio Art;&#160; currently Assistant Professor o f <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/departments\/clarkarts\/\">Art History<\/a>, Clark University) presented a paper entitled \u201cThe Siege Ladders of Leonardo da Vinci\u201d in a session honoring his doctoral supervisor, Dr. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyu.edu\/gsas\/dept\/fineart\/faculty\/eisler.htm\">Colin Eisler (Institute of Fine Arts at New York University<\/a>);&#160; Jasmine Cloud (BA, Art History;&#160; currently a PhD candidate in Italian Baroque Art at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.temple.edu\/tyler\/\">Temple University<\/a>), was selected to give a paper entitled \u201cA Shifting Sense of the Past: The Early Modern Interpretation of the Fa\u00e7ade of San Marco\u201d in a session honoring the historian of Venetian art, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.princeton.edu\/artandarchaeology\/faculty\/brown\/\">Dr. Patricia Fortini Brown<\/a>&#160;(Princeton University);&#160; Leslie Contarini (BA, Art History;&#160; currently working for the art restoration organization Save Venice) helped to organize and host a session sponsored by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.savevenice.org\/site\/pp.asp?c=9eIHKWMHF&amp;b=67611\">Save Venice<\/a>, entitled \u201cRecent Restorations in Venice:&#160; Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese\u201d;&#160; and Dr. Julia DeLancey (Professor of Art, Art Department) was invited to give a paper entitled \u201c<em>L\u2019importantissima mercanzie<\/em>\u201d:&#160; mapping color sellers (<em>vendecolori<\/em>) and visual environments in Renaissance Venice\u201d in a session on period eyes and urban space.&#160;
