The semester will wrap up with the Directors’ Showcase of One-Act Plays, which will run during the last week of classes: Friday and Saturday nights, December 5 and 6, at 8 p.m. in the Severns Theatre! Come see the result of lots of hard work from the students in Play Direction class along with their casts and crews.

You are cordially invited to attend the Freshman Theatre Showcase, which will be held on Tuesday evening, 11/18, at 8 p.m. in the Severns Theatre. The showcase will include scenes from An Adult Evening with Shel Silverstein, as well as some other selections, all performed by our students in Freshman Theatre Seminar.

Theatre Students! Everyone is invited to attend the department postmortem for this week’s production of The Drowsy Chaperone on Sunday 11/16 at 1:00 p.m. in the Severns Theatre. Come with your feedback for the production team as we discuss the pre-production process as well as the final product.

Auditions for the Spring ’15 production of Translations by Brian Friel will take place on Wednesday, November 19th at 7 p.m. in the Severns Theatre. You’ll be asked to read scenes from the play. We’d like to remind you that this is by no means supposed to be a ‘fill-in-the-blank’ worksheet, but merely ideas on which to base your application.
