You Can’t Take It With You, November 7-10

George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s Pulitzer Prize winning comedy, You Can’t Take It with You, premiered at the Booth Theater on December 14, 1936, and had a respectable run of 838 performances. It has since enjoyed several successful Broadway revivals and was the basis for the 1938 Academy Award winning film directed by Frank Capra.  The show will be held in the James G. Severns Theatre in the Ophelia Parrish Building at 8:00 pm.  Admission is free; ticket reservations may be made at the Box Office in the lobby of Ophelia Parrish 10:30 am – 4:30 pm or by calling 660-785-4515.  The show is appropriate for all ages and will be approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes including a 10 minute intermission.
