Tunnel of Oppression is a multi-sensory experience in which participants travel through a space and encounter various types of oppression in new ways. The experience sheds light on various topics and allows participants to explore their opinion about each topic.
This year’s topics include: Parental Oppression, Child Abuse, Sexual Assault, Cyberbullying, Body Image and Animal Abuse.
Join us at the McKinney Center West Entrance (Next to the Health Center) Wednesday through Saturday from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Starting at 7:00am today, residents that did not squat in their current room, can now select a different room that is available anywhere on campus.
This is an online process, which can be found under ‘My Housing’ on TruView. Don’t forget, in order to sign up for a , you MUST fill the entire room. The online link will close at 5:00pm on Friday, February 22nd. Registration for housing is based on based on credit hours earned.

Starting today at 8:00am, residents that qualify as Special Squatters have the option to “squat” in an open room throughout their current building. Areas designated as Special Squatters are:
- Missouri Hall Second floor
- Missouri Hall 1200s and 1300s
- Missouri Romance Languages (1400s & 1500s)-Special Squatter only if currently in wrong gender wing 1400’s will be female, 1500’s will be male.
- BNB McKinney House (1220-1319)
- Centennial Hall
- Ryle Hall 2400s and 2500s
- Rooms that are offline for incoming ADA
Residents of these areas will not be able to stay in their current rooms. As an alternative, these residents can choose a different room within the building they currently reside.
This process is NOT online, but rather you must come in person to the Residence Life Office, MH 1100, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Anybody that is a Special Squatter should have received an email notification from the Office of Residence Life, so check your email. If you live in one of these areas and did not receive an email, please contact our office at 660-785-4227 or reslife@truman.edu

Come to the Residence Life Meet and Greet for a chance to meet other students that would like to live on campus next year, but don’t have a roommate yet. This opportunity comes to you in time to find a roommate so you can register online together, giving you a better chance of picking the room you want!
