In November, our cadets went through our annual Combat Water Survival Training event at Truman State University. Although the cadets had to go through several challenges in the water they overcame and adapted like the soldiers they are meant to be. Go Bulldogs!
During MS 100 lab, MAJ Marie Burden and SFC Brad Watson instructed students on the fundamentals of map reading. The students were highly engaged, and came away from the class with a better understanding of the principles of navigation.
During PT, the cadets participated in a platoon competition! Cadets were split into two platoons and completed demanding physical challenges such as relay sprints, tire flips, pull ups, and bear crawls. Good work cadets!
Cadets and members of the Kirksville community participated in the ROTC Watergun Run 5k/Walk. Despite the rainy weather, a good time was had by all! The first weekend in March, cadets participated in a Team Field Training Exercise alongside cadets from Mizzou, Missouri S+T, and Lincoln University.
