The actuarial profession is consistently ranked as a top-rated job (http://www.beanactuary.com/about/best_job.cfm).  Most practicing actuaries today have a degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance or Economics.  The Actuarial Science minor consists of the coursework needed to pursue this profession.

Scott Lesinski (consulting actuary) and Lee Jones (actuarial analyst) are Truman alumni working in the actuarial field for Towers Watson in St. Louis.  Towers Watson is a global professional services firm helping organizations around the world optimize performance through effective people, risk and financial management.  The firm provides innovative solutions to client issues in areas of human resource strategy, design and management; actuarial and management consulting to the financial services industry; and reinsurance intermediary services.

Come hear about opportunities at Towers Watson and meet with Scott and Lee to ask questions about their experiences in the field.

Resumes for summer internships and full-time positions will be collected.  Pizza to follow.
