Problems of the Fortnight (POTF) Returns!

Do you like problem solving contest?  (Really, who doesn’t?)  Check out the return of the Truman’s Problem(s) of the Fortnight contest, brought to you by the student chapter of the MAA.  Every other week (fortnight = 2 weeks (i.e. fourteen nights)) a pair of challenging problems will be posted for you to attempt to solve.  Points will be awarded for complete and substantially complete solutions, and a running total of the score of top problem solvers will be maintained by the MAA.  Untold fame and fortune (maybe more fame than fortune) is certain for this year’s top Truman POTF solver!   Just in time to head off any boredom this weekend, the first POTF is now available for you to work on.  You can always find the latest POTF by click on the POTF tab at maa.truman.edu.
