Computer Hardware Surplus Policy

  1. David Charles Goyette says:

This policy seems to make sense.

  2. Curtis Kelsey says:

Are there any special circumstances that apply to different equipment values. For example, if the purchase price of the equipment exceeded $5,000 does any additional information about the equipment being sent to surplus need to be relayed to the business office?

  3. Paula Cochran says:

It would be useful if the policy was clear about who is responsible for taking the said equipment off of the department’s inventory list. If the department CAN’T surplus it (directly), then ITS should make sure there is resolution of the tag number (either surplussed or reassigned to someone else’s inventory list). Otherwise we are chasing our tails.
