TruTech Challenge call for projects

TruTech Challenge call for projects

January 29, 2007

The deadline has been extended to Jan 31 for the TruTech Challenge, a juried competition of projects that use technology to achieve some learning outcome. Students, faculty, staff, and student organizations are invited to submit projects to the Challenge. Submitters will be asked to present their projects at Truman’s Technology Fair during the University Conference on Feb 7.

The best project in the “faculty/staff” category and the best project in the “individual student/student group or class” category will each receive all-in-one printers from Dell.

Just submit a 250-1000 word description of the project including a statement of the project’s purpose, the ways project uses technology, the ways the project’s purpose is facilitated by the use of technology, the progress made so far, what assistance (if any) was received from others, and any supporting materials you would like the Challenge jury to consider (such as links to websites, printed or electronic documents, CD-ROMs, videotapes/DVDs, audio recordings, or artwork.

Project submissions should be made by Jan 31 to Chad Mohler, either via e-mail (chmohler@truman.edu) or campus mail (Social Science, MC214). Please contact Chad for more information.
