International Education Week

International Education Week 2017

International Education Week is an annual initiative by the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Education. IEW started in the year 2000 and is now celebrated in over 100 countries.This is a week about promoting not only international understanding but also aims to build greater support for international educational exchange and program development. With approximately 400 students from  50 countries, Truman has a lot to celebrate.Truman will be observing this week with a ton of events that will leave you wanting for more.

Nov. 11- ASA’s A Night in Africa 6:00-8:00 pm in Georgian Rooms

Nov. 13- International Tea & Coffee with Health Science 11:30 am-1:00 pm in Georgian Room A

Nov. 13-  SAB presents: Show-Me Sushi 7:00-8:00 pm in Sub Down Under

Nov. 14- International Flag Display Dedication 3:00-5:00 pm In Pickler Atrium

Nov. 14- Educating Global Citizens: Film and Panel 7:00-8:00 pm In BH 114

Nov. 15- Dance Explosion 7:00-9:00 pm In the BSU

Nov. 16- Perspectives 5:30-8:00 pm In MG 1000
