Himalayan Night 2017: The Video

Last Saturday, Namaste Nepal hosted their 13th annual Himalayan Night at Truman State University. The program was created to share the diverse Nepalese culture with other Truman students and Kirksville residents. Namaste Nepal hosts the event every spring with new performances, this year they had about 150 guests attending. Many students were adorned in traditional attire that made the event feel even more colorful. The festivities included traditional and modern Nepali dances, along with several musical performances by Nepali students at Truman. The dinner consisted of momos, rice, and other Nepali cuisine. The event also featured two guest speakers, talking about their experience in Nepal and encouraging others to visit.
