Health Science Alumna Reflects on Her Truman Education

Jasmine JohnsonJasmine Johnson (BS in Health Science ’13) recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) with a Master of Science in Nutrition.  She is currently studying for the registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) exam.  After passing the exam, she plans to seek employment as a dietitian working in the fields of community nutrition, diabetes, and child nutrition.  Jasmine said, “My time at Truman helped me develop great friendships and study habits (sometimes even both during late nights at Pickler lol) that helped me do well at UIC.  The Health Science and Science faculty and curriculum at Truman challenged me, which allowed me to be prepared academically for graduate school.  I am proud to a Bulldog and my experiences at Truman State University will continue to assist me throughout my life.  Thank you to everyone at Truman that supported me while I was there and beyond!” Congratulations Jasmine!
