Amanda Smith to present at Sigma Delta Pi “Best Practices” Session at the 105th AATSP Annual Conference in Salamanca, Spain, 2023

Congratulations to Senior Spanish major Amanda Smith – also President of Truman’ State’s Sigma Delta Pi Capítulo Rho Rho – who has been chosen to share about the “Best Practices” of our university’s National Spanish Honor Society Chapter. This is an enormous accomplishment as Smith has been selected out of a handful of college students from around the U.S. to attend the 105^th Annual Conference for the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) and give a short talk on the types of cultural events and passion for cultural topics our Spanish students at Truman evince. Smith will travel to Salamanca, Spain this summer and participate in the conference between June 26-29.
