Rachel Flynn-Whyman awarded distinguished Outstanding Beginning Teacher

Congratulations to Truman alumna Rachel Flynn-Whyman (B.A. Spanish ’18, MAE Spanish ’19), Exploratory Spanish Teacher at Fox Middle School in Arnold, Missouri, for winning one of the distinguished Outstanding Beginning Teacher awards from MACTE – the Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. Graduates like Rachel continue to demonstrate Truman’s level of excellence in preparing students for their future careers, as well as the extensive training in language education as part of the Classical and Modern Languages Department and Masters of Arts in (Foreign Language) Education.
