Pi Delta Phi initation April 23, 2017

French Honorary members and officers of the Iota Tau chapter of Pi Delta Phi held their traditional induction ceremony and French dinner at the Newman Center at 2 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017. The ceremony was conducted by officers Michaela, Clara, Kelly and Beppy. (See photos of officers and Eric, an initiate.) Our Pi Delta Phi chapter is very active. Members and participants network, help to create an effective and supportive French language learning environment, and participate in and organize enjoyable cultural and social events. An example is the French conversation table open to all those interested in French-speaking cultures. Members also help serve the needs of both the local and international communities, as shown by the deep engagement of French Honorary students in tutoring local Congolese immigrants engaged in learning English.
