School Hosts 7th Annual Bridge CeremonySeptember 27, 2013
On September 16, 2013, the School of Business held the 7th annual School of Business Bridge Ceremony. The Ceremony welcomes accounting and business administration majors into the upper-level School of Business courses.
Stacey George, a 2000 alumna and Senior Counsel with Wells Fargo & Co., spoke to the students about 21st century skills. She highlighted the value of their liberal arts background to enhance innovative and analytical thinking skills. George emphasize that a liberal arts education helps individuals embrace and adapt to change.
Master of Accountancy student, Patrick Fink, talked about the importance of setting goals, taking advantage of resources at Truman, and having fun. He led the students in reciting the School of Business Code of Conduct.
Each student was recognized individually and received a padfolio embossed with the School of Business logo.
